Padre Island Cruise

5th Stop - South Padre Island- May 30

South Padre - Sea Ranch on left (white buildings on water)

That's South Padre in the distance. We have to round Long Island off Port Isabel to enter the Brownsville ship channel that will take us to the Sea Ranch

Bridge opens on the hour. The bridge tender comes out and whistles us through

Long Island has a very nice development that includes wood structure homes, travel trailers and very nice mobile homes with big windows on the end facing the water..

We backed into the transient slip on Wednesday - took a guess at which one to take as the Sea Ranch is closed on Wednesday.

Jerry and Denise Wranischar along with Jerry's parents (Marie and Bobby), are our first guests. Jerry and Denise were kind enough to provide us with transportation to the chamber events. They had their trailer in the state park next to us.
